For most of their songs, Paul and John played all of the keyboard parts, with even Ringo contributing piano. On a wide range of songs, John, Paul, George, and Ringo all played guitars and basses. As the band’s sound developed, they began to use electric guitars more frequently. In the early days of the Beatles, the group primarily used acoustic guitars.
